Responsible for R&D design and develop test equipment for functionalities of medium complexity or for smaller projects according to given requirements and specifications.
Define and provision of test equipment (HW/SW) within development phase according to the defined standards such as analyze project requirements (e.g. schematics, block diagram), derive requirements to test system environment, specifies the test equipment content and create/release the specification for development test system.
Procurement of test system and track of the test system delivery from supplier within budget, milestone and quality. Includes inquiry to supplier for the test equipment and involved in decision about supplier selection.
Configuration and develop the test sequence, validates the test equipment and release the development test equipment and test environment.
Support in test equipment maintenances includes crosscheck if all experience from prototype testing has been integrated into PTS and transfer the prototype test SW as input for production test SW.
Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science or Computer Engineering with minimum 2 years experience in test equipment design and test automation
Basic practical experience using test tool, e.g. oscilloscope, power supply, and CANoe
HW knowledge in reading schematics, understanding of components and bus communication interfaces (CAN, LIN).
Knowledge in automotive system/testing know-how, Labview, Teststand, CAPL, C/C++ programming and experience in using test equipment e.g. Venturi, NI PXI will be an added advantage.
You are self-motivated with a strong passion in embedded development work.
Willing to travel overseas for on job training.
Candidates with right experience shall be considered for Senior or Principal position.
