• Work closely with existing member of the team in setting up a strategic process for quality assurance and reconciliations across MiFID2 reporting obligations which go live on 3 Jan 2018

• Implement a suite for reconciliations to ensure completeness of reporting
• Reconciliations between Internal trade capture systems and External repositories/reporting platforms

• ICounterparty reconciliations where applicable between internal and counterparty records

• Introduction of independent quality assurance process to validate the accuracy of reported data

• QA testing across MiFID2 reporting obligations based on requirements

• Determining and implementing actionable MI provided by any vendor applications to SCB providing objective and expert insight on the reported data, including trade default values when data is missing

• Working closely with Technology and Projects team to define requirements for automated reconciliations and QA testing process. Testing any solutions provided and facilitating implementation into production

• Working closely with Senior Management in defining metrics related to reconciliations and QA testing and ensuring efficient and timely manner in reporting metrics on status of work undertaken

Qualifications & Skills 

• Strong track record in working within regulatory environment, specifically in the Quality assurance and Reconciliations area

• Ability to drive testing, close out key issues and drive tech changes with Projects and Technology teams

• Ability to work closely with Senior management as part of updates, escalation and information share relating to reconciliation and QA process

• Ability to review reconciliation process, implement solutions where required to improve completeness. Work closely with BAU team in coordinating exception management resolution with reconciliation exceptions on a daily basis

• Domain expertise across financial markets products, particularly in the context of post-trade OTCD regulations such as EMIR and MIFID

• Working knowledge of the front to back trade lifecycle for derivatives, including associated market infrastructure providers and capabilities

• Analytical mindset, attention to detail

• Proficient presentation/communication skills

• Demonstrable strong teamwork with internal and external groups
