Job Description


The role reports to the Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiative

Client Focused - Purpose Driven Leadership
  • Be full business consultants providing valuable and practical insights to client’s business issues
  • Set clear joint objectives by becoming an integral part of client’s planning process

  • Be proactive consultants, not reactive data providers
  • Provide expertise beyond data
  • Be top of mind vendor for all of in-store shelf strategy needs


Accountability and Responsibility - Performance Driven Leadership
  • Operate as one unified team with close communication and consistent message to clients
  • Share and leverage best practices
  • Empower our people so they feel ownership and part of the success of their clients


Client Leadership
  • Builds strong, trust-based client relationships, contributing to strategic account planning process and vision for client
  • Creates clear client centric vision, high impact strategy and goals that delivers business impact
  • Penetration of senior decision makers across client functional teams
  • Solid negotiator who balances client needs with operational realities


Thought Leadership
  • Able to analyze and integrate various data sources with market and industry knowledge
  • Ability to develop conceptual frameworks to simplify complex problems and issues
  • Ability to craft a narrative that engages and excites client audience


Team Leadership
  • Quick on his/her feet, crafts the right response to challenging question and tough issues
  • Proactively resolve client issues by engaging other business support groups as needed
  • Drive collaborative one voice engagements to solve client business issues


REQUIREMENTS
  • Min University degree in Business, Masters preferred
  • At least 8-10 years experience
  • Account management experience including consultative engagement
  • Knowledge of CPG industry, both manufacturer and retailer
  • Ability to clearly explain analytical techniques to non-expert audiences
  • Self-starter with a keen interest in technology driven solutions
  • Confident and eloquent in conversing and engaging with all stakeholder levels of client
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, including communications and client focus
