Job Description

The individual in this position is responsible for providing technical support for installations, product maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving product performance problems. He supports distributors and subsidiaries in the ASEAN and South Asia region.
  • Conducts product demonstrations and provide technical training to sales and technical support personnel from distributors and subsidiaries
  • Supports distributors and subsidiaries in providing customers with technical support (via phone, email and/ or onsite) for installations and product maintenance
  • Supports distributors and subsidiaries in troubleshooting and resolving product performance problems (via phone, email and/ or onsite) highlighted by customers
  • Prepares technical documentation (including official memos and SOPs) on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for distributors and subsidiaries
  • Supports sales by responding to customers queries escalated by distributors and subsidiaries
  • Assists in pre-sales and post-sales support of distributors and subsidiaries by providing equipment demonstrations and sample testing & analysis
  • Provides technical expertise to distributors and subsidiaries when product seminars and exhibitions are organized
  • Ensures accurate documentation and reporting of repairs and product failures
  • Evaluates support capability of distributors
  • Oversees laboratory and conducting customer sample testing

  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
