Job Description

My client is a global name in the life science industry and now seek and experienced customer technical support to provide their customers with technical and application support

  • Act as single point of contact to liaise with internal and external customers with technical and application support via telephone, email, using workshop/office lab facilities etc.
  • Act as the first level of technical support escalate accordingly to instrument service, applications and sales teams
  • Support all users with products, resolve all issues with systems and software
  • Manage the internal database, record appropriate documentation and ensure accuracy as per standard operating procedures and keep the database up to date
  • Ensure complete follow up with customer for product and instrument repair status and satisfaction survey
  • Ensure required documentation are sent to customers and manage exchange of products due to quality issues
  • Raise cases to appropriate parties and inform the service department of upcoming work orders and schedules
  • Report and analyse potential risk and identify new business opportunities

  • Degree in Science or equivalent with prior customer centre experience
  • Experience with lab equipment, lab work flow and with life science equipment and tests will be a big advantage
  • Knowledge on PCR, DNA extraction, and Electrophoresis
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows
