Financial Analyst (1 Year, Tuas, US MNC, SAP, Immediate Starter, Up to $5K) 

  • Well-established US Manufacturing Pharma MNC.
  • ,
  • Responsible for the timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Finance Team and its Business Partners within APAC region.
  • Perform certain financial compliance, capital, month end, reporting, and other Manufacturing Finance specific activities from a centralized location in Singapore on behalf of Company's APAC manufacturing site locations.
  • The Financial Analyst will work as process subject matter expert within other regional Finance CoE across Europe, North America, Latin America and Italy, and Global Financial Solutions Shared Service for best practice sharing and process standardization.
  • ,
  • Support work transitions between all the Business Partners and other Finance organizations as needed.
  • Act as the main liaison person between site/Business Partners on questions/issues relating to financial systems or processes for assigned Business Unit (BU) and Legal Entity (LE).
  • Business Partner with various functions within the organization to drive continuous improvements.
  • Represent Centre of Excellence (APAC) in Global Process Teams and to lead/participate in standardisation of processes across regions.
  • Perform ad-hoc support as and when required.
  • ,
  • Co-ordinates Impairment Reviews with the site leadership teams and asset verification with the site teams.
  • Engages directly with engineering and related stakeholders on the sites.
  • Conducts regular review meeting with the site project engineers for the construction work in progress, prepare CIP metrics, monitors and resolves issues.
  • Fixed Asset tagging and count (Tuas site).
  • ,
  • Supports compliance activities.
  • Supports Internal/External Audit for sites, such as finalization of audited report, Corporate Tax reporting, GST, Witholding Tax, incentive tracking, Tax provision for one or more legal entities.
  • Monitoring of cash flow, Withholding Tax submission and payment matters.
  • Updates Blueprint/Tax Portal.
  • Prepares ASL Annual Review for approval.
  • Supports system Access Review processes.
  • Drafts the Quarterly Control Questionnaires.
  • Monitors GFS Invoices on hold and reports to site leadership teams.

  • Validates PPV results.
  • Works closely with Procurement to ensure alignment on PPV reporting and forecasting.
  • Processes month end processes including deferrals, VEMP, interco entries, IPM, EAMS reconciliation.
  • Ensures all reconciliations submitted to RMS for approval within the required timeframe.
  • Manage the accounting operations including month end accruals, monthly review and variance analysis of expenses for one BU.
  • Close monitoring and follow up on financial related matters relating to the assigned BU and LE

  • Submits the MOS report to NY.
  • Complete Balance Sheet commentaries at quarter end as required.
  • Reconciles local results with Hyperion.
  • Performs review of draft spend reports at month end. Partners directly with customers for any specific queries.
  • Completes balance sheet reconciliations of accruals and prepayments.
  • Manages all restructuring financial processes and reporting.
  • Works directly with the relevant site stakeholders to process any manual accruals required.
  • Works with Legal to ensure appropriate provisions in place for the Legal Entity (Tuas site).
  • Performs value add analytical review of spend and trends.
  • Tracking and analysis of markup in inventory.
  • Prepare and submit GMX reports.

  • Prepares inputs to the site’s forecast templates with the actual results year to date and the projected rest of year result for spend and PPV.
  • Tracks changes to forecast and actual versus forecast for spend and PPV.
  • Submits the forecasts for spend - enabling functions and restructuring.
  • Works directly with the sites on template completion for spend budgets and purchased materials.
  • Works with procurement and the site on budgeted PPV.

  • Degree in Accounting/ACCA/CPA Australia or equivalent, Candidate with Singapore Chartered Accountant is highly preferred.
  • At least 4 years of relevant working experience and Business Partnering.
  • Experience in SAP.
  • Manufacturing Finance skills in month end processes, site forecasts, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Ability to work in a high performing team environment.
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice.

  • Working Location: Tuas (Transport pick-up is provided from Jurong East MRT Station).
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday; Flexible hour, can start work between 8am and 9am and leave 9 hours after.
