Job Description
Responsibilities:
Drive Indirect Sourcing and 3rd Party Spend and act as a business partner with cost center owners and functional leaders. It is responsible for all Indirect Spend in Singapore & Australia/New Zealand and will be the single point of contact for sourcing, defining, and maintaining the company Indirect spend categories in the SEA region.

  • Develop and implement short and long term strategies designed to reduce costs and improve quality and service and meet corporate goals and objectives. 
  • Implement 3rd Party Spend Strategy 
  • Develop, implement, communicate and monitor compliance to corporate procurement policies. 
  • Develop and deploy center-led sourcing processes for spend management, savings tracking, project tracking, performance reporting and category playbooks. 
  • Act as business representative on corporate-wide commodity teams. Actively participate in commodity team decision-making, negotiations, and implementations. Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of standard tools, templates, legal documents and supplier selection criteria across the organization. 
  • Achieve cost savings objectives through creative procurement strategies, vendor selection and review, and favorable contract agreements. 
  • Focus on key and strategic suppliers to improve supplier performance, reduce cost and receive consistent quality products and/ or services. 
  • Work with legal team to lead and oversee complex contract negotiations. 
  • Manage a sustainable and measurable purchasing card program. 
  • Lead the financial planning and budgeting process and monitor adherence to the budget. 
  • Responsible for the management of the indirect procurement team including the development of roles and responsibilities. Plan, direct and manage procurement activities. 
  • Create and execute select sourcing strategies for various parts of the organizations (e.g. Consulting, Legal, HR, Insurance, Travel & Entertainment Expenses, MRO, Equipment, Facility & Professional Services, Contract Labor & Training Services, Operational Services, Informational Technology Tools & Equipment, etc.) 
  • Develop supply agreements with suppliers to meet the short, mid, and long- term needs of the business. Agreements must deliver the lowest total cost for materials and services while allowing flexibility to adapt to the changing organizational requirements 
  • Lead multi-site and OpCo negotiations for business terms and develop contracts for the supply of both standard and complex products and services with new and existing suppliers. Collaborate with Finance & Legal in regards to contractual terms 
  • Monitor supply markets and trends (e.g., commodity price increases, shortages, changes in suppliers) and interpret the impact of these trends on company strategies ensuring category management techniques are executed to gain the maximum value for prices paid 
  • Identify the critical materials and services required to support company strategies in key performance areas 
  • Ensure internal customer adhere to the delegation of authority and procurement processes 
  • Support spend requestors with effective, efficient, and compliant procurement transactional tools & processes 


Requirement: 

a) Professional Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in relevant areas such as supply chain, business management, operations, or finance 
  • MBA or other relevant degree/certification (e.g., CSCMP SCPro or ISM CPSM) highly desirable 
  • Must possess 5 years of relevant experience (e.g., sourcing, buying, or procurement) 
  • Strong negotiations, analytical, problem solving, organization, and project management skills 
  • Strong leadership capabilities 
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and integrate information by leveraging appropriate productivity tools 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent skills in Power Point, Word, Excel required 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong prioritization skills to manage multiple projects and sites simultaneously 
  • Experience in contract development, execution and management 


b) Education
  • Undergraduate degree in relevant areas such as supply chain, business management, operations, or finance 
  • MBA or other relevant degree /certification (e.g., CSCMP SCPro or ISM CPSM) highly desirable 

c) Language
  • English & Mandarin fluent written and spoken to liaise with mandarin speaking associates 


d) Travel
  • Approximately 15%, may include occasional international travel
