Manage the project delivery of infrastructure for CBGT projects, ensuring that the objectives encompassing schedule, scope, cost, quality, resource, integration, communication, risk, procurement and stakeholder management are met.
Job Description :
Manage the end-to-end deployment and delivery of IT infrastructure for CBGT projects from deployment planning, setup & testing, pre-production readiness to production cutover. Conduct proper transition from Project to Operations before project closure
Understand the solution, scope and deliverables of the project, review the implementation and cutover strategy and work towards executing a successful project cutover
Collaborate with Solution Engineer, Application teams, Infrastructure SME's and service providers to meet the project objectives and schedule, and address issues that arise in the project through timely escalation
Raising and follow-up for change and technology support Requests
Adhere to the bank's project management, deployment and change management process
Prepare and submit the necessary change requests and requisition forms for the deployment of infrastructure for the project, such as facility request, IP/DNS/Hostname request, SAN requisition, etc
Manage the delivery of infrastructure for CBGT projects and ensure the following:
Deploy infrastructure setup according to the Bank policies/standards and approved solution design
Manage risks and escalation encountered during project deployment and drive towards resolution
Achieve target SLA for Infrastructure Provisioning
Complete project deployment as per agreed schedule and plans
Complete DR readiness according to Bank Policy
At least 5 years IT experience with at least 3 years in a project deployment capacity, preferably gained in IT banking environment or a system integrator environment
The candidate should have strong infrastructure/technical background with knowledge on Open Systems platform. Moderate information security knowledge
Have a good understanding of ITIL processes
Have good leadership skills in working with application teams and service providers in defining infrastructure deployment plan, cutover/migration strategy and test plan.
Able to formulae and establish infrastructure deployment standards.
Good people management, vendor management and project management skills
