Job Description: The JAVA developer will be part of a development team that has strong experience in delivering digital solutions and in-depth knowledge of database design. You will be collaborating with the Product, Design and Test Team to develop and maintain software solutions for our prestigious clients.
Skills in writing reusable Java libraries and writing clean, readable Java code
Familiar with Java GUI frameworks such as Swing, SWT and AWT
Experience in SYBase and extensive hands-on experience in SQL Query programming and popular web application frameworks such as Play and Spark
Proficient in Java, with good knowledge of its ecosystems
Solid understanding of object oriented programming and fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction Management etc)
Familiar with various designs and architectural patterns and concepts of MVC, JDBC and RESTful and with build tools such as Ant, Maven and Gradle
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate) and concurrency patterns of Java
Creating database schemes that represent and support business processes
Understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses and workarounds and code versioning tools such as Git, SVN
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Familiarity with continuous integration
Minimum 2 years experience in-depth knowledge of database design
Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Information Technology and other relevant experience
