The e-FX Development team is looking for a microservice developer, who will take a key role on our team. The microservice developer role involves designing and developing cutting edge software applications, web services and APIs on cloud using multiple technologies.
The successful candidate will have deep development experience in cloud microservices, and has built robust, highly scalable, high-performance distributed systems that connect cloud microservices with mobile, web, and standalone applications, and / or smart devices to offer consumers a wide range of functionality that can grow with time.
Responsibilities
- Building Amazing applications with modern cloud-native architecture design
- Help scope and estimate technical designs for various cloud applications
- Writing code for eFX systems that ensure our business run smoothly
- Using cutting end technologies like AWS Lambda, NodeJS and more
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and NodeJS.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6 Specification), NodeJS .
- Good understanding of Java/J2EE and framework available such as Spring framework, Hibernate, etc
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handing and functional reactive programming
- Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Motivated to build a reliable and scalable micro-services infrastructure
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems and microservices
- Implementing automated testing and unit testing
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Bitbucket
- Experience in a banking environment is a plus.
