You will be responsible in providing network design, pre-sales, network project implementation and post-sales consultancy. You may also be involved in hands-on operations in network maintenance (i.e. Facilities Management or Datacentre environment).
Network Engineer, Operations
Troubleshoot and resolve Network related fault
Generate configuration for the change request
Support the implementation of change request for Network devices
Planning future improvement and suggesting solutions to reduce network faults
Support implementation of project based on the design as required
Ensure accurate maintenance of Network inventory, record and configuration management for all Network devices
Provide training to the first level engineers
The ideal candidate should possess:
Diploma/ Degree in IT-related discipline
3 – 5 years of hands-on experience
Experienced in implementing and administrating network devices such as Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless Controllers, and Wireless Access Points.
Experienced in implementing and administrating network routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP & network Security, IPv6.
Experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, TFTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
Experienced in Administration and troubleshooting in network environment.
Experienced in firewalls/IPS/IDS/Proxy/Monitoring tools
Exposure of protocol analysis tools used to troubleshoot layer 2 & 3 issues Technical Support for critical situations.
Exposure with technologies such as IP Telephony, MPLS, QoS will be added advantage.
Exposure with network equipment (Cisco Systems, Alcatel-Lucent, HP, Juniper Networks, Bluecoat, F5, Riverbed, Cisco Call Manager/ Unity) etc will be added advantage.
Able to work as a team lead and manage a team of 3-5 engineers will be an advantage.
Able to work as a team member and Independent and should be self-motivated and highly customer focused.
Able to support enterprise networks (500+ network devices).
Certifications such as CCNP/ CCIP/CCSP/ CCIE/ JNCA /ITILV3 and other relevant IT industry certificates will be preferred.
Good understanding of Internet routing protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, OSFP, BGP, MPLS/VPN
Knowledge of routers/switches architecture and software upgrade procedure
Possess good analytical and trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification
Possess good working knowledge in multiple vendor equipment like Cisco, Juniper, Huawei rout

Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
