Process Improvement Engineer (Oil Refinery/ Tuas)

  • Monitor, analyse and develop process improvements for the plant.
    • Working as process and engineering specialist together with the operational department
    • Perform monitoring and in depth analyses of the day to day and long term plant performance (Yield, Energy, variable cost, catalyst performance etc.)
    • Develop/ improve KPI reporting (i.e Short Term Interval monitor and control tools Operations)
    • Develop systems to maintain and sustain improvements
    • Develop investment/business proposals for optimizations of the plant.
  • Act as change / steering manager in optimization projects
  • Lead of the Investigation teams from Operations
  • Lead engineer, chair of Risk Analyses from Operations
  • Responsible for operations KPI development, recording, knowledge retention and follow up
  • ,
  • Working as process and engineering specialist together with the operational department

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in oil refinery, petrochemicals or chemical processing industry
  • Experience in process development, continuous improvement (i.e. Green belt, etc), HAZOP, risk assessment and root cause analyses
  • Possesses leadership skills and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
