Job Description

One of the largest apparel companies is looking for a strategic & experienced Director to lead their regional merchandise planning and allocation functions across several markets globally across more than 100 countries.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the regional retail planning function through providing guidance to merchandising leads
  • Develop consistent work processes
  • Support inventory planning activities
  • Oversee generation of regional S&OP and maintain accurate information for profitable inventory decisions to be made
  • Manage, develop and recruit for key retail planning positions


Requirements:
  • MBA / Bachelor's degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in a planning function, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a strategic leadership role.
  • Demonstrated forecasting/planning expertise and experience in the retail apparel industry.
  • Proven experience in building new processes and improving existing processes.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to build constructive and effective relationships with a diverse group of cross functional business partners.
  • Highly effective leader, with strong management skills and the ability to set clear objectives.
  • Demonstrated innovative problem solving and partnering skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and influencing skills.
