Job Description

Our client a Global MNC in the medical industry have a new opportunity for a Regional Supply Chain Manager to join their team.
This is an end to end supply chain position that includes, Planning, Purchasing, Order Fulfilment and Inventory Management for the region.

Main Responsibilities include:
  • Leading and implementing the regional supply chain strategy and SOP
  • Stakeholder management and working with cross functional teams to drive and implement the supply chain strategy
  • Optimise inventory management, resources and efficiencies.
  • Set SOPs and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage demand and inventory planning, coordinate and ensure fulfilment of purchase orders and monitor local/ regional inventory level to prevent out of stock or write off situations.
  • Manage the regional Warehouse within the region
  • Constantly update departments of local regulatory and legal requirements in product supply chain management.
  • Coordinate and support logistics operations as part of supply chain management e.g. transport, create and manage new warehouses, forwarding etc.
  • Participate and support new product launches in the region.


Requirements
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in supply chain management.
  • Good understanding of the different supply chain processes with at least 5 years of proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical, life science or biomedical industry.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the regulatory and legal environment related to supply chain management of pharmaceutical products in the region.
  • Good understanding of the business model/ sales operation of pharmaceutical companies and how it affects demand forecast and inventory management.
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented with good organization and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good knowledge of logistics options and solution in the Asia Pacific zone.
