§ Equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in business management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience. Freight Forwarding experience and a thorough understanding of global transport logistics (air/ocean/ground). Strong analytical skills.
§ 5 plus years management experience in Freight forwarding logistics and International Supply Chain Management.
§ Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Power Point, Visio, Word and Excel
§ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
§ Knowledge of GTNexus is a plus
§ Must be versed on safety and compliance issues
§ Advanced understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts and logistics processes
§ Knowledge of transportation/warehouse management systems
§ High degree of logic, initiative, self organization and creativeness
§ Proven ability to get things done, conceptual thinker and team player.
§ Highly developed written, verbal, and inter-personal skills to manage and motivate workforce and others
§ Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities with the ability to quickly solve problems and drive team to solutions
