Technical Sales and Service Engineer

Process Equipments/Combustion Equipments in Chemicals, Refineries and Petrochemicals
I am currently working on an exciting role with a leading International Equipment manufacturer and Service provider. They are currently looking to hire a Technical Sales Engineer to be based in Singapore. This is a newly created regional role that reports to the APAC Aftermarket Operations Director. You will be in charge of working closely with process engineering team and service engineers to provide technical supports for Chemical, Refineries and Petrochemical plants in this region.

  • Communicate customers’ expectations to the business and operation teams
  • Identify ways to anticipate customers’ needs
  • Provide business groups, product development and sales management with timely information about equipment performance such as reliability, performance, and warranty that can help improve our product
  • Build and maintain a long term profitable relationship with the customer
  • Ensure that customers equipment is in working order and that sufficient spare parts are stocks for critical equipment
  • Provide turn around assistance and ensure that customers have the necessary parts for the turn around
  • Develop Parts sales to regional customers achieving market based pricing
  • Feedback to proper department if modification and / or improvement to be conducted during service works so that it can be properly documented

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering
  • 3 to 8 years of relevant technical service/application support/hands on maintenance experience within the Chemicals/Refinery/Petrochemical industry
  • Knowledge in Compressors/Thermodynamics/Flares/Process Equipment/burners/boilers/combustion equipments
  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel : 50% to 70%
