Introduction
The B.Eng (Mech) programme aims to produce graduates with the fundamental knowledge and skills to practise mechanical engineering in a broad range of industries. The broad and flexible curriculum also provides specialized electives that tailor to students career goals, while their communication, practical and innovation skills are also developed through group design and project work. General electives such as business and management courses also equip students for leadership and managerial roles while at the same time promote their awareness of professional ethics, societal and moral responsibility, and the need to engage in life-long learning.
Entry Requirements
- Relevant Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering/Science;
- At least 2 years of full-time work experience or are in full-time work employment at the point of application;
- Operationally ready-NS men are welcome to apply.

Criteria
- Must be Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents;
- Have not previously received a government subsidy/scholarship for a first degree;
- At least 21 years of age;
- Fulfil one of the following work experience criteria:
o Completed 2 years full-time NS liability or
o Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience or
o Currently employed on a full-time basis.
SkillsFuture Credit
Every Singapore Citizen aged 25 and above will receive an initial credit of $500. These credits can be used to offset the total course fees payable.
