Our client, a Multiple Award Winning and Leading Events Company is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join their team.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and review the activities of the Finance Customer Contact Centre (Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables), Purchasing and Cost Control teams
  • Oversee the financial management and reporting activities of the company
  • Develop, streamline and enhance financial management and reporting processes
  • Responsible for management reporting
  • Manage and oversee the budgeting and forecasting process including effective planning, guidelines and assumptions
  • Timely and accurate preparation of consolidated monthly and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with the regulated guidelines
  • Review and finalize month-end closing activities
  • Review and approve closing and reconciliation processes
  • Provide financial insights and advise to the Senior Director of Finance and Chief Executive Officer that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agents
  • Review current internal control and process improvements
  • Ensure financial and business-related legislative compliance are met
  • Drive digitalization of Finance processes
  • Attend to vendor queries on invoices when required
  • Key liaison person for Corporate Office queries
  • Deputize for the Senior Director of Finance in her absence

  • Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalent
  • Min 8 years of full sets experience in digitalized accounting environment with 3 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Ability to work independently and thrive on a dynamic working environment
  • Highly organised with good project management and analytical skills
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
  • This is a 6 months contract (May convert to perm based on performance)

  • Location: Central Singapore
  • Salary: Up to $8,500 (Basic salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
  • Working Hours: 5 Days
