Accountant, AR (Account Receivable)

Job Description
Accountant, AR (Japanese speaking)

  • Ensure all invoicing and journal entries performed by the team are timely and accurate 
  • Actively support the team in collections and resolving issues 
  • Review monthly balance sheet schedules and ensure adequate follow-up of aged items 
  • Review and/or prepare monthly reports on receivable and collection positions 
  • Monitor bad debts provision and initiate write-offs as necessary 
  • Ensure procedures are in compliance with prevailing corporate policies and regulatory requirements 
  • Identify improved control measures / processes to reduce risks or improve efficiency 
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects implementation 
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors as necessary 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a hands-on leader 
  • Good communication & presentation skills 
  • Analytical and a good trouble-shooter 
  • Customer service oriented 
  • Highly competent in MS Excel. MS Access knowledge will be beneficial 
  • Degree in Accountancy 
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in accounting or auditing.
