ROLE PROFILE
The role is an entry-level to mid-level position primarily responsible for operational support needed by all departments to fulfill their respective duties and to keep functions moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Office Management
  • Manage and maintain the office and its facilities, including handling the procurement and monitoring of office supplies, merchandise and other general items needed for daily operations
  • Manage the reservations, logistics and payments of space reservations
  • Handle calls, emails, front desk and other inquiries related to the office and its facilities
  • Plan and execute on programs for coworkers to increase engagement and create a sense of community

Administrative Duties
  • Provide clerical duties such as encoding, mailing, etc.
  • Maintain a filing system for both hard and soft copies of important documents
  • Acts as liaison between the company and headoffice finance/accounting
  • Coordinate and maintain records for staff, telephones, parking and petty cash
  • Handle companys social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Reply to email and social media queries
  • Assist with other tasks and provide support to overall project team

People Management
  • Assist in hiring/recruitment and lead the training and onboarding of new teammates
  • Manage the retention and happiness of the team
  • Handle internships which includes hiring, training, onboarding, evaluation and exit


Preferred Competencies and Required Skills
  • Must possess a bachelors degree
  • Preferably with at least 2 years experience in handling administrative functions
  • Interested in startups and the innovation sector
  • Highly organized, good project management skills
  • Has good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Knowledgeable with MS Applications MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • WILLING TO START ASAP
