Seeks an Administrative Assistant to work in our luxury travel business, located in Singapore, working closely with our Associate Director of Asia Pacific and Reservations Agents.

ID Travel Group, also known as Island Destinations, is a USA & Singapore based world renowned travel company. Established 35 years ago, ID markets luxurious holidays to high end clients exclusively through travel advisors. The Singapore office opened 7 years ago and principally services Australasia clientele. We are seeking an enthusiastic employee with interest in travel to be an administrative assistant with opportunity to grow within the company. A candidate who is passionate about exploring the world and using that passion to develop a career in the travel industry will be the best fit. Experience in the travel industry, a hotel or tourism/hospitality background is a plus.

The position will work closely with our regional director and with our reservation specialists, and has the potential for incredible travel opportunities. The position includes assisting with travel arrangements such as transfers, concierge requests, accommodation requests and administrative functions. This is an "in office" job that calls for computer knowledge, dedication, and the will to excel.

  • High-touch customer service skills
  • Excellent English language communication skills both verbal & written. Primary markets are Australasia, but fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese for Taiwanese and Hong Kong clients would be an advantage.
  • Advanced computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – especially Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and in a group
  • Flexibility to travel internationally occasionally
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Candidate must be a well-organized team player, and be able to multi-task. We will hire the candidate that can demonstrate excellent customer service and the will to broaden knowledge, along with a passion for travel. At the ID Travel Group we plan once in a lifetime trips to Bali, Fiji, the Maldives, Mexico, Hawaii, South Pacific and the Caribbean. All of which have to firstly be seen and experienced by a member of our company prior to including into our portfolios therefore enabling our employees with firsthand travel experience to many of these destinations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist Reservations Agent in all aspects of sales, including managing payments, booking hotels, cars, transfers and sightseeing, checking hotel availability & prices, all while providing exceptional service to our valued travel advisor partners.
  • Manage daily concierge requests – including arranging clients dining, spa treatments, excursions and airport transfers at luxury hotels and resorts world-wide.
  • Assist with the finalization and distribution of client travel documents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel at hotels.
  • Salary: SGD $23,000.00 $27,000.00 /year (Range depending on industry experience)
