Job Description
Our client is a Western MNC & a leader in providing industrial automation solution

Position: Asia Pacific Field Marketing Manager

To take care of Asia Pacific regions in terms of the field marketing matters.


• Lead a team of country based field marketing resources to execute the annual commercial marketing plan which supports strategy implementation of Corporate, SBU / Industries / OEM team through portfolio and solutions marketing programs

• Generate leads by activating Asia Pacific and global inbound/outbound marketing campaigns, developing local campaigns to address short / medium term sales needs, and events.

• Execute local events and webinars

• Monitor and control the implementation of the marketing plan and ensure budget (OPEX & Capex) control. Track the performance and results of all marketing events / campaigns defined in the annual commercial plan

• Drive the company brand awareness, key message and thought leadership promotion

• Develop customer success stories

• Work closely with Country Sales Management team / BU team to understand short term needs (business recovery) and opportunities (share of customer wallet / attachment), and then develop/deliver targeted campaigns.

• Working with Asia Pacific Sales enablement team to select and implement appropriate existing sales training initiatives for In-Country resources.


• Monthly:

o Reports of event/promotion with Sales leads generated

o Local, Asia Pacific and global campaign execution performance against KPIs

o Review with sales leadership to determine short term marketing needs

• Quarterly:

o KPI statistics report of opportunity linkages, lead generation number and receiver number of brand awareness

o Report of marketing expenditure against budget

• Annual

o Meet external success story goal

• Individual development:

o Marketing program oriented leadership

o Objective driven communication

o Competitor marketing’s observation and digestion

• Competencies

o Add values to opportunity conversion and funnel health for sales and partners

o Build brand awareness by delivering marketing programs on time and within budget

o Understand company value proposition across multiple industries and applications. Incorporate the value in all marketing events and promotion

o Collaborate and communicate effectively and efficiently in matrix of function groups and business stakeholders


• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent

• At least 7 years of relevant experience, with strong marketing background for industrial products

• Some modern marketing experience (such as marketing automation, digital, social marketing etc) will be added advantage

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing skills

• Ability to work in a highly virtual and remote environment within a matrix organization

• Willing to travel within Asia Pacific region
