Provide management oversight for the grants disbursement team to ensure prompt and accurate payment of grants.
Provide strategic direction to help the team to strengthen the accountability and governance for grants (e.g. through the usage of data analysis to detect anomalies and potential fraud; putting in place robustcontrols and governance framework; and enhancing system and processes).
Manage audit-related matters to ensure compliance with audit requirements
Provide strategic leadership to a team of officers (include Senior Manager/ Managers and Executives) who manage the disbursement of grants, develop the team competency and groom the officers as professionals.
Degree in Accountancy or Finance with minimum 10 years of relevant directorship experience in grant management or audit fields
Experience in accounting, finance and/or audit is preferred
Able to balance operational demands and higher policy considerations
Good project management and organizational skills; strong analytical, writing and research skills; and aptitude for problem solving including numerical analysis
Possess good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Team player with high level of initiative and strong interpersonal communication skills
