Job Description
  • Provide management oversight for the grants disbursement team to ensure prompt and accurate payment of grants.
  • Provide strategic direction to help the team to strengthen the accountability and governance for grants (e.g. through the usage of data analysis to detect anomalies and potential fraud; putting in place robustcontrols and governance framework; and enhancing system and processes).
  • Manage audit-related matters to ensure compliance with audit requirements
  • Provide strategic leadership to a team of officers (include Senior Manager/ Managers and Executives) who manage the disbursement of grants, develop the team competency and groom the officers as professionals.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy or Finance with minimum 10 years of relevant directorship experience in grant management or audit fields
  • Experience in accounting, finance and/or audit is preferred
  • Able to balance operational demands and higher policy considerations
  • Good project management and organizational skills; strong analytical, writing and research skills; and aptitude for problem solving including numerical analysis
  • Possess good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with high level of initiative and strong interpersonal communication skills
