Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Provide key support in all aspects of finance to management
  • Oversee financial and management reporting, tax reporting, statutory reporting, and business reviews and finance analysis which includes expense analysis at cost center level
  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting exercise
  • Liaise with other corporate HQ functions on business related issues
  • Collaborate closely with shared services centre to align and improve processes
  • Establish accounting and group policies for compliance across the Group, including driving implementation of new accounting standards, as well as company and department policies and procedures
  • Provide accounting and financial reporting advisory, including supporting discussions in various workgroups
  • Manage training workshops and seminars, and e-learning initiatives
  • Ensure compliance checks on internal processes
  • Oversee treasury settlement operations
  • Coach, supervise and develop staff to assume greater responsibilities
  • Other ad-hoc assignments, including participation in system implementations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Recognised degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification, preferably Chartered Accountant
  • 15-20 years of experience, ideally with first few years in one of the Big 4 audit firms, followed by commercial experience
  • Conversant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) and other regulatory compliance requirements of listed companies
  • Self-driven, meticulous, proactive, versatile, positive attitude, good team player, good interpersonal and communication skills, good commercial acumen, and an analytical mind
  • Able and willing to accept intra-department or inter-division transfers/job rotations, and henceforth changes in work scope and responsibilities
  • Application submission to include appraisals from existing and past employers
