Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

  • Support daily business operations for the EWSS Sanction Screening team
  • Perform screening of alerts (Maker/Checker) with regard to sanctioned names, locations etc. 
  • Liaising with internal/external stakeholders with regards to alerts; seeking for additional information; escalating to internal compliance team where applicable
  • Performing reconciliation of alerts on periodic basis
  • Preparing management reports and following up on outstanding items
  • Issue/incident and error management and the related follow up and reporting.
  • Support in p.hol/weekend/adhoc duties (e.g. Live verification of systems) where applicable.
  • Participate in projects & improvement initiatives (e.g. control deep dives, pre-audit reviews, risk self-assessments; coordination of internal, external and regulatory audits etc)

  • Preferably a diploma / degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a banking operations environment.
  • Possess good knowledge of remittance products with strong risk & controls mindset
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills with good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Ability to work under stress & tight timelines
  • A good team player as well as the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Able to work shift
