Job Description
Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
  • Process transactions of the department in accordance to procedures laid down in the operating manuals
  • Assisting in clerical/delegated official functions of the unit.
  • Liaise with customers via phone/ take calls to ensure production of quality products and services to internal and external customers in accordance with the services standards established with respective BU/SU.
  • Provide good quality and timely services and ensuring good phone contact/pick-up when liaising with customers.
  • Identify problems encountered during work processes and suggest solutions to overcome the problem
  • Review processes and suggest ways for improvement when applicable.
Requirements
  • A degree holder with at least 1-2 years of experience in banking operations environment, preferably in Trade Finance processing
  • Meticulous and sensitive to numbers.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under stress.
  • Ability to meet SLA/ tight deadlines and performs efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, Words Strong analytical skills with good interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player as well as the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
