**Our Client is an established Financial Institution in Singapore, who is seeking to recruit an AVP (Full Stack Developer/ Architect).
AVP (Full Stack Developer/ Architect)

Job Responsibilities:
Understand the business needs and objectives from stakeholders, translate their needs into technology requirements.
Manage and execute (when required) the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for solution implementation and enhancement which includes planning, analysis, design, development, code review, test, migration and deployment.
Provide the solution architecture and software design for the development team to deliver the project.
Hands on development to build the applications.
Manage code repositories and development/test environment for the solutions
Liaise with technology counterparts to deploy the solution in various environments (e.g. Development, Quality Assurance (QA), Staging, and Production)
Ensure the solution fulfils the following requirements: -
Functional / Business requirements
Non-Functional / Technical requirements (e.g. high availability, performance, exception handling, logging, backup and restore, ID management, etc.)
ITDR requirements (e.g. desired recovery time objective (RTO), desired recovery point objective (RPO), etc.)
IT Security requirements (e.g. Application Penetration test, IT Security Policies and Guidelines, etc.)
Work with project manager, business analyst, test manager and other solution architects in large scale project to ensure timeline are met and end to end system integration are harmonized in company's technology landscape.
Perform knowledge transfer to the team with relevant documentations, with the objective to ensure team members are able to handle the system in Business as Usual (BAU) operation.
Develop the key metrics to evaluate vendor's proposal, perform vendor evaluation together with other stakeholders and propose the decision.
Manage vendor to ensure the deliverables are on time with desired quality when vendor solution is required.
BAU Responsibilities

Provide production supports, which includes:
Response and manage incident tickets to ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) is met and minimal impacts to stakeholders.
Follow through incident and problem tickets to ensure timely closure with proper resolution.
Manage changes and deployment to QA/production system
Execute/Oversee deployments to QA and production environment.
Ensuring changes are tested and conform to release readiness before releasing the changes into Production.
Handle technical / functional queries, which includes: -
Support users in their day to day operations of system. This includes discussing and reviewing configurations required for new customers, new instruments etc.
Provide system impact analysis for new functionalities or turn-ons. Take on changes that are minimal and not impacting staff commitment to production support
Upkeep the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and WIKI contents and documents in designated knowledge sharing platform to ensure knowledge sharing and retention.

Job Requirements:
5 or more years of solution architect with hands on coding working experience.
Completed at least 2 full Software Development Lifecycles SDLC which involves design and develop new web application from scratch.
Experience in supporting systems in production environment.
Able to work both independently and as a team.
Knowledgeable in performance and security standards for building web applications.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Strong analytic and problem solving skills.

Good to have:
Proficient in Windows and Linux.
Proficient in Oracle and Microsoft SQL.
Proficient in Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML, REST API, SOAP web services.
Proficient in Spring, ORM, Node.js, JavaScript framework e.g. Bootstrap, AngularJS / Angular2, ReactJS, jQuery, LogBack, JUnit.
Experience using Eclipse, Maven, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer.
Experience in .Net. (Good to have)
Experience in Cloud technology (esp. AWS).
Knowledgeable in building cross-browser/cross-platform compatible applications.
