Job Description

An international business school that offers undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate business courses is presently looking for a PR and Branding Manager as part of its progressive plan to establish a stronger presence in the education market.

Responsibilties:
  • Play the critical role of planning & driving the PR and Brand Building for the organization.
  • Develop a PR plan including goals, campaigns, budget and tactics in alignment with the organizational objectives to improve media presence.
  • Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on specific projects related to enhancing or protecting how the organization is portrayed in the media, as well as to employees and clients.
  • Coordinate all public relations activities.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests.
  • Create concept for press releases, by-line articles and keynote presentations.
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
  • Collating and analyzing media coverage to increase the company’s presence in the market.
  • Maintaining and updating PR related information on the organization's website.
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them


Desired Skills:
  • An impeccable command over written and spoken English with exceptional writing and editing skills for print, online and digital media.
  • A key component- an exceptional ability to cultivate and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong brand orientation skills; with the ability to capture and visualize the company vision and develop strategies on that basis.
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns.
  • Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets.
  • Experienced in handling social media and digital PR campaigns.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • The desire to learn and constantly engage in self- development is a must.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver results.
  • Must possess computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) & knowledge of Sales CRM


Qualifications:
  • Should hold a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Journalism/Communications/PR).
  • 1-3 years of experience in PR is a must
