Job Description

Looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about data and committed to empowering business operations managers with data analytics and tools.

Seek to create and deliver new solutions that will enhance the business processes. Be responsible for evaluating and improving the methods of how we deliver data and information to our stakeholders by seeking to build commonality and consistency across segments of data sourcing and reporting. Implement new platforms and toolsets in order expand and improve our solution offerings. Serve as a liaison with corporate reporting entities and the Accounting and Operations departments, as well as the CEO; helping to quantify productivity results of each solution created. Be a key resource in providing ad-hoc reporting alongside managing larger projects. Collaborate with the team as well as other peer teams on best practices and technology solutions.

Skills Required: Including, but not limited to, the following software platforms:

• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Power View

• Business Intelligence Software (Power BI, Tableau)

• Business Analytics Software (SAS)

• Microsoft SQL Server

Create reporting solutions based on the needs of business

• Delivering Reporting solutions that help drive data-driven business development decisions

• Implementing and staging external data sources for sustainable reporting

• Develop KPIs and reporting monitoring the success for various programs within Account Management

Define project and analyze system requirements

• Identify data and format needed to support customized solutions

• Recognize challenges to data requirements seeking alternative solutions within Expeditors Network

• Source information across multiple data warehouses, including external data sources

• Construct data merging mechanisms and implement database maintenance

• MS Access, Excel, Power BI

• SAS SQL Databases

• Maintain SOP library for projects


• Bachelor's Degree required

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience SQL for DB2, SQL Server, MySQL preferred

• Experience with Business Intelligence software and data visualization

• Experience with JavaScript or other scripting language preferred

• VBA for Office development (MS Access/Excel application development)

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access

• Ability to design creative solutions to meet business needs

• Effective interpersonal skills - ability to relate to employees at all levels

Reports to the CEO.
