Responsibilities:
  • Directs execution of purchasing activities.
  • Reviews and improves purchasing processes
  • Manages supplier relationships.
  • Performs RFQ evaluation.
  • Identifies and realizes cost savings opportunities to achieve yearly cost reduction targets.
  • Work with purchasing team and coordinate with global sourcing management team
  • Develop supplier delivery performance


Requirements:
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing with 1-2 years purchasing/materials management experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills, planning skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiating skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communications.
  • Understand MRP and experience in using SAP will be an advantage
