Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • To be involved in a project from the start, preparing estimates and forecasting costs based on scopes and quantities.  Consolidate preparation of tender and subcontract documents including bills of quantities, and quantify and analyse the basis of cost allocation for subcontracted workscopes. 
  • Be part of the decision-making team that allocates work to subcontractors, and be involved in advising management on the subcontracting strategy for the project.
  • Keep track of any variations to the subcontracted scopes that may affect costs, and create reports to gauge and record deviations to cost and profitability.
  • Perform quantification and valuation of completed work via detailed calculations, generate cost analyses, and provide assessment and guidance to project managers on subcontractor claims for original and variation workscopes.
  • Follow through to achieve successful quantitative final settlement and close-out of subcontracts
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
  • Prior experience in quantity surveying and subcontracting will be a clear advantage
  • Possess knowledge and skill in negotiation and settlement
  • Resourceful and with good analytical abilities, and a passion for numerical work
  • Enthusiatic and self-motivated
  • Integrity is a must
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills and able to work well with both internal and external stakeholders
