Job Description

- Assist the Logistics Manager in his duties and responsibilities.
- Attend to daily request for sourcing of goods and materials under his/her portfolio from end users.
- Check and ensure request forms are duly signed by the authorized signatory before sending out Request for Quotations (RFQ) to approved vendors.
- Ensure purchase orders are processed within specified time in line with the KPI.
- Ensure that all purchasing data are accurately input into the JDE Procurement System.
- Prepare Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE) for all purchases that is S$10,000 and above.
- Ensure execution of purchases are in accordance to company polices and quality procedures.
- Conduct sourcing of materials and equipment locally and internationally for operation, production and project requirements in accordance to established policies and procedures.
- Analyse and evaluate quotations from vendors and conduct negotiation, where necessary, to achieve the best overall deal in terms of technical conformance, delivery compliance and commercial considerations before raising commercial bid evaluation for approval.
- Represent the company in dealing with vendors, owners, sub-contractors and their concerned parties for the execution and timely fulfilment of purchase contracts and orders.
1- Ensure proper logistics arrangements for the delivery of goods to meet project schedule and take recovery actions where necessary.
1- Track and expedite orders and provide timely status report for project progress updates.
1- Conduct supplier appraisals and audits.
1- Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
1- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum Higher NITEC or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.BUSINESS UNIT
