Job Description

Business Function 
 
Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank’s risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure. 
Responsibilities 
  • Drive the implementation and design enhancement of credit portfolio assessment at group and country levels
  • Co-ordinate and execute credit portfolio reviews on countries/ industries/ segments
  • Identify credit portfolio risk drivers, develop heat maps and set triggers/ alerts.
  • Proactively scan the horizon/ environment for risks and recommend deep dives
  • Leading the digitization processes and integrate both traditional and innovative data point
  • Engage with all relevant stakeholders including Country Risk, Group Research, IBG and RMG 
  • Prepare senior management review decks for all credit portfolio updates and ensure consistency & quality
  • Work with Data Analytics team to enhance data structure and quality improvement
  • Apply analytics using data and alternative data sources to monitor and analyse portfolio performance as well as dimension risk vs. reward balance on a regular basis
  • Validate and identify opportunities for optimizing portfolio management policies through portfolio performance analysis
  • Conduct portfolio stress testing to establish portfolio risk tolerance


Requirements   
  • Degree holder, preferably in risk management/ quantitative discipline.
  • At least 10 years’ relevant working experience in credit, statistics, data analytics and/ or project management.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of the credit environment.
  • Team player with good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Seek to understand stakeholders’ point of view and find win-win solution.
  • Motivated, self-driven and taking a hands-on approach.
