Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
The Contract Staff (Senior), Platform Support – L1 Support will provide operational support to the production support team. This includes alert monitoring and escalation of issues to the Command Centre and Level-2 Support teams, as well as system health checks and job batch scheduling for DBS Bank Institutional Banking Group Technology.
  • Provide 7 x 24 operational Level 1 support to production support teams including weekends and holidays
  • Monitor Scheduled Jobs and batch runs
  • Alert monitoring and escalation to Command Centre and L2 support teams
  • Execution of failed jobs based on instructions from L2 team
  • Perform system health checks of critical systems
  • Maintain support documents and procedures and ensure compliance to security standards
  • Ensure proper guidance, training and mentoring are given to new staff
  • Ensures on-time escalations to command centre and L2 support for critical batch failures/issues
  • At least 2 or more years of experience in L1 role 
  • Exposure to banking applications is a plus
  • Able to work in shift rotation to support the business 24 X 7
  • Experience on batch scheduling tools
  • Experience in working on Unix and shell scripting
  • Dynamic individual with thirst to learn 
  • Experience in ITIL concepts and best practices will be an advantage
  • Discipline and have eyes for detail
  • Good English speaking and writing a must
