Contract Supply Planning Manager (1 Year, Tuas/Pharma, APICS, SAP, Up to $8K)  

A well-established US Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing MNC. Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring successful performance of the supply and delivery chain for assigned portfolio of products within the region as part of Above Market Planning (AMP) Hub. Participate in Global and Regional forums as regional point of contact for assigned portfolio. Drive improvement initiatives related to supply & inventory management to support achievement of commercial goals for the region and markets in scope. To be a back up to cover the Senior Manager’s duties as needed in his/her absence and take on the coaching responsibility towards junior or new team members. Key Responsibilities: Supply Assurance Continuously monitor and ensure product supply. Proactively identify supply risks by updating supply outlook. Using standard processes drive communication and resolution of supply issues with stakeholders. Escalate risks to AMP Supply Manager and Regional Supply Leads as needed. Proactively understand demand drivers and supply implications from forecast changes. Partner with AMP Supply Manager to drive: Resolution of escalated risks with stakeholders. Resolution of escalated issues in Supply Chain Agreement (SCA). Changes in transportation mode. Inventory Management and Deployment ​Develop inventory targets and budgets. Drive continuous optimization of inventory and working capital. Analyze inventory performance versus budget and develop action plans to achieve targets. Perform root cause analysis of inventory deviations vs. targets and of inventory drivers and define improvement plans. Monitor and manage inventory shelf-life/expiry dates minimizing write-offs whilst improving processes to avoid obsolescence. Ensure in market obsolete inventory is identified and disposed of on a physical and financial level. Develop and negotiate Supply Chain Agreements (SCA) with stakeholders. Coordinate pre-shipment and support post-shipment issue resolution with Intercompany Operations (I/O) or market teams as required. Product Change Management Proactively and continuously support Product Change Management activities securing achievement of business objectives, service levels, costs and working capital requirements. Point of Contact for Sites Serve as point of contact to manufacturing sites for any questions related to assigned product portfolio. Improvement Initiatives Own and drive completion of continuous improvement initiatives. Manage, track and drive resolution of complex issues as well as improvement initiatives. Effectively coach team members including guiding new or junior team members. Build strong professional relationships across geographies and at different levels of the organization. Requirements: ​ Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations Management. APICS Certification is highly preferred. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Supply Chain and Logistics management (Planning, Scheduling, Customer Service, Demand and Supply), from Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry (is a must) with understanding of commercial dynamics, trends and regulatory processes, Pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end to end global product flows. Sound knowledge of principles and strategy for Sales Forecasting/Demand and Supply Planning. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and analytical skills. Experience in SAP is a must. Able to work in a complex matrix organization and within a multi–cultural environment, balancing needs of different stakeholders Prior experience in leading implementation on new processes/technology. Other Information: One (1) Year Contract (with 1.5 months' completion bonus). Working Location: Tuas (Transport pick-up is provided from Jurong East MRT). Transport allowance of S$250 is provided.
