Job Description

Business Function
 
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
 
Responsibilities 
 
1. Responsible for operational matters for the following Corporate Trust Products:
  • Real Estate Investment Trust (REITs) Administration
  • Exchange Traded Funds
  • Any other Corporate Trust Products


2.REITs Administration  
  • Prepare and arrange for sign off of:
    • Payment instructions including loans, fixed deposit, etc
    • Monthly payment instructions for transfer of funds from Revenue to Operating Account as per Budget
    • Income distribution
  • Review monthly financial reports 
  • Yearly Compliance Review as per Code Of Collective Investment Scheme


3.Exchange Traded Funds (ETF)
  • Process creation and redemption of ETF units as per operating guidelines
  • Ensure underlying trades are settled as per Operating Guidelines
  • Daily reporting of ETF transactions to Fund Manager and Administrator
  • Daily review of Fund’s Net Asset Value on Fund’s expenses and accrual
  • Weekly compliance as per Code of Collective Investment Scheme for ETF


4.Bond Compliance
  • Collection and follow through Bond Compliance Documents when due


5. Other Corporate Trust Products
  • Cover for other products such as paying agency, escrow agency and employee benefit schemes 
  • Process payment/instruction as per Trust Deed/Agreement


Requirements
  • Degree holder (Finance/Accounting preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year working experience in a finance related industry in Operations/Finance/Compliance/Audit Department
  • Knowledge on Corporate Trust Products – REITs, ETF, Bonds, Employee Benefit Schemes would be of advantage
  • Knowledge on MAS Code of Collective Investment Schemes would be of advantage
  • Able to read and review Financial Statements, Budget and Valuation Reports would be of advantage
  • Candidates with REITs and ETF administration experience will be of added value
