Job Roles & Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming emergency calls;
  • Generate Emergency Call Taking (ECT) form via the Authority’s incident management IT system;
  • Retrieve incident location from caller;
  • Determine the incident categories from information provided by the caller;
  • Input required details into ECT form;
  • Perform telephone triaging and medical advisories to callers for medical calls based on the guidelines provided by the Authority;
  • Route the completed ECT form to the Authority’s resource dispatcher;


Job Requirements
  • Preferably possess working experience in a call centre environment or medically related organisation
  • Be proficient (both written and verbal) in the English language and a Mother Tongue language
  • possess at least 3 GCE ‘O’ Level certificationor National ITE Certification (NITEC) in Nursing, or its equivalent
  • Preferably possess medical related qualifications
  • Possess basic computer literacy skills such as using Microsoft Office applications and the Internet
  • Be able to work well under pressure especially where there is a sudden surge of calls
