Job Description
Responsibilities

Data Leakage Prevention depends on a combination of people, processes, and technology as its strategic control foundation. The APAC DATA PROTECTION Business Analyst has strong functional expertise in all IT security control areas and in particular data security applied to financial organization. The role focuses on the identification and integration of new use cases to protect the Bank’s data and reduce exposure to fraud.

Direct responsibilities of the APAC Data Protection Business Analyst

• Manage definition of new uses cases with business stakeholders and other data protection team members involved
• Identify new data sources and work with corresponding team to make them available for data protection controls
• Interface between business user and data protection team for use case lifecycle process
• Analytics capabilities to identify new use cases based on investigation result or user behaviour
• Manage interviews with business stakeholders to collect their requirements. Having an experience working in financial industry is a plus.
• Validate the feasibility of translating approved use cases into data protection controls
• Interface with PMO to keep project on track, communicate status, identify and handle project risks
• Maintain synchronization on APAC DATA PROTECTION initiatives with data protection project teams in other regions
• Improve information security documentation, and develop a set of best practices for the data protection program
• Remain compliant with internal security risk management practices for any existing or new data protection feature

Contributions of the APAC data protection Business Analyst

• Contribute to the data protection requirement gathering activity based on Requirement Manager's needs
• Contribute to the production of data protection KPI and KRI dashboards, and compliance / regulatory score cards
• Contribute to maintain high level of expectation for business requirements and analytics team
• Contribute to the preparation of steering committees and risk assessment updates
• Answer requests raised by Internal Audit and contribute to the prompt closing of any finding
• Contribute to maintaining a reputation of excellence and professionalism vis a vis all senior management
• Actively contribute to BNPP Operational Permanent Control. Improve operational risk management, execute first-level controls and partner with IT OPC for second-level validation

• Good understanding of IT security and data leakage prevention controls
• Good understanding of general IT including network security architecture, encryption, and operating systems
• Knowledge of Event Correlation

• Advanced knowledge of Excel

Professional Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the following areas:
• IT security controls
• Project leadership within a large organization
• Handling of security threats and vulnerabilities
• Electronic investigation, forensic tools and methodologies, including log correlation and analysis, forensically handling electronic data, and computer security investigative processes
• Legal and regulatory aspects surrounding electronic discovery and analysis
Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field

Languages

• Excellent level in verbal and written English is essential
• Knowledge of French and/or an Asian language is a plus
Certifications

• CISSP, CISM or CISA preferred
