Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of an effective sales force governance and control framework in order to mitigate regulatory, market conduct and compliance risks. [50%]
  • Vet product, sales and marketing materials to ensure that the contents are accurate, not misleading and fit for purpose [30%]
  • Oversee and carry out adhoc tasks and special projects assigned by HOD, including accurate reporting and escalation of compliance and regulatory issues, work improvement projects, revision of SOPs and IT enhancement projects within the stipulated time line. [15%]
  • Develop and coach less experienced team members to enhance their technical competency and personal effectiveness to deliver quality and timely results thereby achieving the Departments and Companys goals and objectives [5%].

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Management, Economics or Accountancy
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in Compliance, Training & Competency or Distribution Management, relevant to the insurance / financial sector.
  • Candidates with Distribution Management experience will have an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance products
  • Able to interact effectively across different business stakeholders and compliance functions. Good communication skills
  • Committed and conscientious personality. Takes ownership and responsibility to drive projects and bring it through to fruition
  • Self-Driven, Meticulous and have a keen eye for details
  • Possess analytical ability
  • IT saavy
  • Project Management skills (not compulsory but an advantage)
  • Certificates:Financial Advisory qualifications,Compliance qualifications
