Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Job Purpose
  • Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the Group’s (Cyber) Security program including policies and standards, and support BU/SU teams in implementing effective processes to manage (Cyber) Security risk. 
  • Provide risk management oversight of the (Cyber) Security program.
  • To ensure Cyber Security risk is managed in DBS. 
Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement policies, standards and practices that are necessary to meet obligations pursuant to Cyber Security regulation for jurisdictions in which the Group operates. 
  • Work with stakeholders to define (Cyber) Security risk appetite, and risk based control framework. 
  • Provide support and guidance to BU’s & SU’s to support management of their (Cyber) Security Risk.
  • Ensure Cyber Security risk is managed in DBS.
  • Own and provide regular security metric and update to senior committees.
  • Involve the data and cyber security surveillance
Responsibilities
  • Establish and lead the Group’s (Cyber) Security program in accordance with regulatory guidance, industry best practices, and other defined requirements;
  • Work with stakeholders to define policy, standards and controls (‘security by design’), provide advisory and execute oversight for (Cyber) Security program;
  • Develop and maintain the Group’s (Cyber) Security relationships with regulators and industry;
  • Track and support resolution of (Cyber) Security issues and breaches; 
  • Establish and manage metrics to demonstrate effectiveness of (Cyber) Security program.
  • Ensure Cyber Security risk is managed in DBS.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of (Cyber) Security regulation.
  • Working experience of driving cyber security risk management program and initiatives. 
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated work experience 
  • Sound knowledge of banking and other financial services products 
  • Information and cyber security certifications will be preferred e.g. CISM, CISSP, GIAC etc.
