Description: Specific Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: Develop and provide training for food safety and quality requirements Develop and maintain documentation such as SOPs, as well as maintenance of manuals, policies and procedures as relate to any food safety concerns Conduct facility food safety audits as well as manage third party audits Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all products coming in and out of the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards Update existing food safety procedures and documentation to keep up with changing requirements Assist buyers with training and educating potential suppliers to ensure compliance Work closely with Operations Manager, Production Manager and/or COO on any food safety or quality assurance issues Attend to external audits e.g MOH, FAMA and any other external audits from time to time Oversee proper maintenance and sanitation of all facility to comply with food safety requirements Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed and documented correctly at all times Skills: Detail oriented, and possess strong computer skills, including MS Office and Excel Familiar with FSSC22000 standards Qualifications: Degree in Food Technology A minimum of 5-6 years of food safety experience, with management level experience in HACCP, FSSC, preferred. Manufacturing & Food processing experience is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and GAPs Previous experience with Food safety audits internal and external desirable Must be able to travel as required to various suppliers around and possible outside of the Klang valley Able to work unsupervised and manage independently Have strong communication skills and proficiency in English reading and writing Must be flexible with work hours and days

Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
