HR & Admin Manager (West, Industrial Relations, Manufacturing, Up to $6K)  

A well-established Precision Engineering Firm . Responsibilities: ​​ ​ Provide full spectrum of HR functional, operational and strategic support. Supervise the HR team in delivering & administering the full range of HR services. Ensure Payroll, claims, CPF and levies are processed and paid out on time. Ensure compliance to Employment Act, Government regulatory requirements and company rules & policies. Manage all Union related issues on behalf of the company, establishing close tripartite relations for a harmonious employee-employer relation. Ensure manpower requests are promptly attended to by arranging for advertisement, shortlisting and interviewing the candidates to ensure ‘person-job & ‘person-culture’ fit. Identify training, development, corporate needs and facilitate delivery & recommend suitable courses to fill the gaps and meeting the needs. Facilitate staff performance appraisal & promotion exercise yearly - collation of assessment ratings, consolidate and moderate ratings for final approval. Facilitate employee communication meetings and manage staff recognition programs. Handle, coach, advise, guide and assist the line departments on staff discipline, grievances, etc. and reaching resolutions. Counsel, coach, advice and talk to the employees on any HR related matters. Continuously reviewing of policies, processes, compensation and benefits. Drive HR related cost savings projects. Supervise the IT Administrator. Other administrative duties like despatching of incoming mails and security & safety or other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior. ​Requirements:​ ​ Degree in Human Resources. Minimum 8 years' experience in similar capacity, especially Industrial Relations; from Manufacturing environment. Experience in dealing with Union is highly preferred. Sound knowledge of Singapore employment laws & regulations, market practices and general business environment, changes and updates to CPF rules & regulations. Basic knowledge in Safety/Environmental. Understanding of the initiatives, grants and subsidies given by WDA, NTUC, etc. Ability to multi task, organize & arrange varied HR initiatives in a fast paced work environment. IT savvy and good working knowledge in the Payroll software. ​​Other Information:​ Working Location: Jurong (Transport are provided from Jurong, Clementi and Pioneer MRT stations and to Jurong East MRT station).
