Job Description
HR Business Partner - Shanghai, China

Perform functions to develop and implement various Human Resources policies and procedures, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice. 

Job Description: 

  • Research and resolve human resources issues, evaluate findings and make recommendations for revisions to policies and programs affecting employees including, but not limited to compensation, employment, training, employee relations and payroll; 
  • Prepare payroll calculation (and social security) for China Offices, 
  • Handle staff medical and health insurance application and annual renewal 
  • Handle leave record and attendance management 
  • Drive and manage Annual Performance Review 
  • Provide support in salary administration process including evaluate jobs, competitive market surveys, develop job descriptions as well as make appropriate salary recommendations to management; 
  • Partner with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. 
  • Investigate, conduct and resolve employee issues by providing recommendations to management and ensure grievances are dispensed with to avoid legal ramifications; 
  • Oversee general office admin duties such as renovation, dispatch, stationary, mobile phones, insurances, front desk reception; 
  • Maintain awareness of trends in the labor market, summarize and communicate trends and market information of interest to management; 
  • Responsible for office equipment maintenance and contracts as well as handling any other general administrative duties & projects. 
  • Organize employee events to foster teamwork and close working relations; 
  • Initiate and develop solid working relationships with peers and other employees in the work unit and department. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor degree or above in Human Resources Management or related disciplines, with minimum 8 years’ solid HRBP experience in consulting, advisory or multinational corporations 
  • Strong inter-personal skills with good communication skills 
  • Able to work in a fast pace multi-cultural environment with strong china market intelligence 
  • Familiar with China Labour Laws and related ordinance is a must 
  • Familiar in using Human Resource Information systems, such as Prosoft, PeopleSoft, SAP or other enterprise systems. 

This role is based at Shanghai China.
