Job Description
  • 6 to 12 years of HR experience in a fast-paced, high-touch and demanding work environment ideally gained in the Professional Services/banking/FI industry 
  • Compensation salary benchmarking and salary review experience is mandatory 
  • Hands-on and strong on multi-tasking with strong people skills 

This co is a world class professional service MNC which is a clear leader in its field.

In this role, you will provide sound advice to the Corporate Support Service (CSS) leadership team across a broad range of tasks across Recruitment, Onboarding, Training & Development, Performance Review Planning, and Exit Management.

For this CSS team, you will support employees from Finance, Marketing, IT, Recruiting, Staffing EAs in the 4 offices (Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta). Minimal travelling is required as the overseas offices are relatively small compared to the Singapore office.


Employee Engagement:
  • manage CSS staff building relationships, maintaining the pulse of the class, people’s performance and morale and suggesting the right interventions in different scenarios, develop forums and programs on a class level 
  • Drive levers to create a positive employee experience for the Consulting Support Staff (CSS) team 
  • Lead the CSS People Council meetings with the CSS leadership team to provide input and advice to build positive employee climate 
  • Lead the direction for the Executive Assistant (EA) team including EA support portfolio assignments, recruiting and onboarding for EA new hires, coaching, ongoing team training, performance and leave management process 

Performance Review:
  • Lead the annual performance calibration work stream end-to-end, including preparation of the calibration materials for the CSS Leadership team and own the compensation planning cycle which includes salary benchmarking and compensation administration after the review cycle 
  • Ensure all staff are receiving timely performance feedback; coordinates with Partners and Managers on appropriate messaging; facilitate performance management process when appropriate 
  • Manage the probation, performance and talent management process 

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Payroll and compliance management, including remuneration reviews and oversight of the company entitlements and benefits for all CSS employees in SEA 
  • Lead the annual salary benchmarking exercise across CSS Departments 
  • Manage the insurance renewals/remarketing exercise with insurance brokers 
  • Review, assess and execute employee welfare and awards program achieving employee satisfaction and cost targets. 
  • Respond to employee questions on benefits and resolve claims issues 

Talent Acquisition
  • Responsible for end-to-end Talent Acquisition - agency vendor liaison, candidate shortlisting, interview arrangements, documentation, on-boarding, induction 
  • Work with CSS managers to determine recruitment needs: initial resume screen, interview, handle all reference and background checks. Provide salary recommendations for new hires, considering internal equity & market competitiveness 
  • Work with Case team on temporary staffing needs and manage recruitment vendor contracts and relations 

Learning & Development:
  • Develop CSS training program/ annual teambuilding event by working closely with the CSS mgmt team to conduct needs analyses to determine professional development requirements for the staff; 

Onboarding / Offboarding
  • Responsible for the onboarding of all CSS employees to ensure proper integration and training 
  • Coordinates departure process for all CSS staff to ensure smooth transitions including paperwork, payroll and communications etc. 

HR Administration
  • Maintain both hardcopy and softcopy files to ensure all employee files are kept up to date with all relevant offer letters, contracts, and agreements 

Other duties
  • Provide office administration support in reception backup cover and office seating 
  • Leave system management for the CSS teams 

  • Bachelors’ Degree with at least 6-12 years of HR experience in a fast-paced, high-touch and demanding work environment, preferably with some experience working within the Professional Services industry 
  • Compensation salary benchmarking and salary review experience is mandatory 
  • Well-versed with statutory labor law requirements in at least one or all of the countries within SEA (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia & Thailand) 
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. 
  • Working knowledge of Workday and TIMES preferred but not a must 
  • Experience with Insurance renewals/remarketing exercise with insurance vendors is preferred but not a must 

  • Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills 
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset. 
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, confidence and maturity to interact effectively with all levels. 
  • Preferably an extroverted, enthusiastic and dedicated attitude with a strong sense of ownership and high sense of self-awareness and empathy. 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and degree of autonomy 
  • Meticulous and detail-orientated 
  • Maturity and ability to navigate through varied employment regulations and challenges 
  • The flexibility and willingness to be very hands-on in all aspects of the role 
  • A positive mindset with a cheerful disposition and enjoys interacting with employees with the sole purpose of creating a positive working environment for them. 
  • Ability to deal appropriately with highly confidential information with tact and diplomacy. 
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Thrive on challenges in a fast-paced environment where quality and speed are critical.
