Familiar with HSEMS & OSHA regulations

Our Client, a global designer and manufacturer of power generation equipment, power systems, gasoline engines, custom power supplies is now looking for high-calibre, dynamic and result-oriented people to join our team in Singapore to fill the position as a HSE Manager

  • Implement HSE policies & procedures that ensure a safe and healthy working environment compliant with legislation and regulatory requirements, internal policies and best practice
  • Anticipates, identifies and evaluates hazardous conditions and environmental risks
  • Leads the HSEMS and the efforts to control risk and ensure continual improvement beyond compliance
  • Facilitate the HSE aspects of an operational move of facilities
  • Supports the collection and reporting of site HSE KPIs for use at the site, business unit and Corporate levels
  • Conduct Analysis, investigations, audits and required reporting to ensure a safe environment for employees
  • Provide problem solving, analysis, training, coaching and leadership to plant and team safety resources related to safety & ergonomic improvements
  • Lead and developing action plans and conducting follow-up audits to address relevant site safety issues
  • Partner with all functional area management on creating the right environment via safety audits and ergonomic conditions reviews
  • Develop and implement HSE training along with measures of effectiveness

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or any related discipline
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in compliance with OSHA regulations is required
  • A registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower
  • Certified Fire Safety Manager
  • Experience in managing authorities and contractors
  • Good knowledge & understanding of safety & environmental management systems
  • Professional Certification preferred, CSP, OSHT or CPE, FSM (Six Sigma preferred)
  • Awareness of ISO 14001 and OHS 18001

  • Located @ West
  • 5 Days Week - Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30 pm
  • Salary negotiable (Will commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
