  4. Assist HOD/ICT to manage ICT Resources
The Senior ICT Specialist will assist HOD/ICT to manage the school’s ICT assets and resources such as the acquisition, replacement and condemnation of ICT equipment, and the loan of ICT equipment to staff and students. Working with other ICT Staff The Senior ICT Specialist will oversee and assign work to the school’s Technology Assistant (TA), as well as working with in-house ICT Trainer and other ICT support staff in the school. Other Tasks Other tasks for the Senior ICT Specialist may include market scan on technology trends and tools that support teaching and learning, training and updating school staff, conducting enrichment activities for students (more than 8 hours per year), performing any other adhoc tasks as assigned by the school. Furthermore, the Senior ICT Specialist may be appointed as point of contact with MOE HQ for dissemination and coordination of ICT project related matters for schools. They shall raise any issues, concerns and feedback that they receive from schools on ITB initiated projects so that prompt and effective action could be taken by ITB to address these concerns and problems early. Job Requirements

  1. At least a Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming or equivalent
  2. Preferably with a minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field
  3. Preferably have experience in computer programming, networking, ICT contract and project management
  4. Experience as trainer for students in school and registered with MOE.
