Our Client is a Global and well-established UK MNC in the Automotive Industry located in the North-East. They are looking for unique individual to join their growing business as an Industrial Engineer/ Planner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop manufacturing strategy & its roll out
  • Focus on competitive costs to deliver lean mfg sites
  • Support business case analysis for build locations, growth opportunities and manufacturing capacity and capability banks
  • Lead Vertical Integration Studies (Make vs Buy Matrix)
  • Deliver cost estimates to business team & review quotes with manufacturing plants.
  • Develop Investment plan, follow up to launch (including chairing project review, approval, maintaining Database and reviewing open projects with Product Business Units)
  • Manage the improvement of value streams of products/components being manufactured out of region
  • Business Planning for Global / region
  • Sort sales plan database, review manufacturing location accuracy
  • Work with owner to develop manufacturing resource plan (capital equipment, headcount , floor space plan)
  • Make manufacturing location recommendation


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in Industrial / Production/ Manufacturing Engineering or other related Engineering discipline.
  • At least 5 years related work experience in a manufacturing environment that demonstrates problem-solving skills and developing/implementing manufacturing plans
  • Able to negotiate, communicate and resolve facilities related issues with both internal and external constituencies.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Team player with ability to work independently.

  • Location : AMK
  • Working days : Monday to Friday
  • Salary : Up to S$6,000 (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
