-Develop a test strategy that ensures that the system/program meet its functional requirements and that the by-product produced is of acceptable quality. -Prepare test scenarios to verify the quality of the software/applications, and the defects faults within it. -Conduct testing of software system programs, or do quality check of by-product produced, as assigned in terms of functionality, user interface and content. -Perform regression testing and testing of software builds/bug fixes. -Ensure test procedures are followed at all times and strict adherence to the test script/plan. -Evaluate test results and accurately record defects. -Report the test execution progress, challenges, and provide help needed to the test manager. -Produce clear and concise documentation of the test results. -Prepare the documents for testing and the other documents necessary for the system sign-off (or transfer to production). -Collaborate with other IT functions/providers to ensure on-time delivery of test activities.
