IT Manager, APAC - Applications
  • Leading European Player in its sector
  • Regional IT Manager covering 9 markets in ASIA
  • Leading a team of systems administrators
  • Direct experience in MS Dynamics Implementation regionally and an applications background is key

Role Scope
  • Reporting to the Head of Operations for APAC, you will be responsible for all aspects of IS applications and IT infrastructure for the Asia Pacific region offices.
  • This role is required to ensure the smooth running of IS applications and IT infrastructure to support business and achieve the business objective.
  • This role manages the entire Asia Pacific IT/IS team and work closely with Switzerland HQ IT department.
  • Project management – i.e set up of new offices, implementation of MS Dynamics, managing stakeholders local requirements, aligning with Group HQ policies
  • Budget management
  • Stakeholder management across corporate and business functions
  • Team Management of helpdesk, Systems Administrators and Business Systems Analysis
  • Vendor management

Essential Experience
  • Mandarin speaker
  • Educated to graduate level.
  • 10 years’ experience in total, of which a couple of years in Regional IT Management experience at a strategic level in the support and implementation of applications and infrastructure, managing a small team
  • Experience in all phases of Software Development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL, etc. PMP certified.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Dynamics (FAS/ERP), Azure, etc.
  • Process oriented thinking. Good experience in business process mapping, analysis and re- engineering.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams. Experience of working with offshore development teams.
  • Result oriented, disciplined and have a self-starter mentality who can take on projects and deliver signed-off acceptance.
  • Good managerial, leadership and influencing skills with a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
