Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION

The IT Audit Assistant Manager will assist the IT Audit Manager in planning and executing IT infrastructure, application, governance and general control audits. The IT Audit Assistant Manager should be able to build a robust, objective partnership with all levels of the IT organisation of the group. He/ She should be working in a team environment to manage the planning, auditing, reporting and follow-up of complex and multiple technology audit projects in accordance with accepted IIA and other relevant standards.

Specific and essential duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Plan and execute IT infrastructure, applications, process and governance audits of systems
  • Perform data analytics based on audit scope
  • Assist in development of IT audit strategy and annual risk assessment process
  • Conduct examinations, evaluations and reviews to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, reliability and integrity of the IT systems; compliance of policies, plans, procedures, and regulations and proper safeguarding of assets.
  • Ensure proper documentation and conclusion on the results of audit tests and overall effectiveness of controls, adhering to internal guidelines and timelines.
  • Draft audit reports to clearly communicate risks and core audit issues.
  • Provide technical consultation to group audit colleagues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science / information system or professional equivalent from an accredited university
  • Certification as a CISA (CISSP/CISM is a plus)
  • 5 years of full-time experience in IT internal audit, including operational technology audit experience

Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Knowledge of management of information systems, technology processes, concepts and practices, data governance, technology evolution, project methodology etc.
  • Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions. Knowledge of persuasive and predictive analytics and tools.
  • Skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Skill in negotiating issues and resolving problems.
  • Technical and functional auditing experience on all IT areas (governance, developments, network/infrastructure security, risk management, outsourcing);
  • Knowledge of cloud and distributed technologies, Web-based technology, ERP systems (SAP HANA, GRC, Workday).
  • Knowledge of generally accepted IS audit standards, statements, and practices, and IS security and control practices (NIST, ISO27000, SANS etc...)
  • Ability to learn new domain (an in particular for those not coming from and internal auditing background - learning of The IIA's International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) and Code of Ethics and COBIT or other relevant standards
  • Working independently is a must.
  • Overseas travelling will be required.
